Medias LeBlanc, 89, of Villa Providence, Shediac, formerly of Memramcook East, died Friday at the rest home following a lengthy illness.
Born in Upper Aboujagane, he was the son of the late Hypolite and Marceline (Arsenault) LeBlanc.
He is survived by his wife, the former Ida Boudreau, five daughters, Mrs. Emile Power (Juliette) and Mrs. George Bourgeois, both of College Bridge, Mrs. Mance Campbell (Marceline), Chipman, Mrs. Léandre Dupuis (Laura), Memramcook East, and Mrs. Raymond LeBlanc (Imelda) Waltham, Mass.; four sons, Paul, Memramcook East, Alvérie, Moncton, Eric, Dieppe, and Mélas, Toronto, Ont .; one brother, Emile, Dieppe; and 46 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The body is at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Sunday at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Memramcook East. Interment will be in Memramcook East cemeter|y in the spring.
